AusPost has partnered with Zonos to provide Verified Accounts for all Australia Post merchants.

It is important you setup your Zonos Verified Account and link your AusPost account in preparation for US shipment compliance. You can do this via the link sent by AusPost in recent email notices to all business customers. If you can't find that email, Zonos has an Australia Post referral link on the dedicated Verified Accounts for Australia Post page on their website:

The page above also has answers to many FAQs, along with a billing explanation specifically for Zonos Verified Accounts for Australia Post.

You will need a Zonos Verified Account for each AusPost account you have. So if you have a MyPost Business account and an eParcel account, you will need to create a verified account for each. If you have multiple eParcel accounts, you will also need to create a verified account for each of them.

If you are a MyPost Business account holder, you need to enter your APBCN when creating your Zonos Verified Account. This can be found on your MyPost Business dashboard on the Send & Save page, and is displayed under your unique QR Code. https://auspost.com.au/mypost-business/page#/sendsave

If you are an eParcel Contract customer you need to enter your MLID number. Contact your Account Manager to access this.

Your use of our 'SellerDash: AusPost Shipping' app will be unaffected by the addition of Zonos; you don't need to link it our app in any way.

You will need to ensure that all your Shopify Products have accurate HS Tariff Codes and Country of Origin set, as you won't be able to produce labels without this information. You can find help on how to do this in our article here.

We suggest you also check your Shopify settings to ensure you are collecting duties for your US orders: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/international/duties-and-import-taxes

If you have any questions about how Zonos works you'd be best to reach out to AusPost directly. This AusPost page also has some good information along with some FAQs: https://auspost.com.au/disruptions-and-updates/international-service-updates/us-tariffs
