Postage Optional Settings

To edit default domestic label settings, go to CARRIERS > edit the MyPost Business carrier settings, then Default Settings

The following options are those currently available. More information may be available on the Australia Post MyPost Business web site at https://auspost.com.au/mypost-business/dashboard#/support

Require Signature on Delivery

If set to "Required" the recipient of the parcel will need to sign for delivery. If the recipient is not available a card will be left at the premises to advise the recipient to collect the parcel from a local post office.

If set to "Not Required" and the recipient is unavailable the parcel will be left in a safe place at the premises. If no safe place is available a card will be left at the premises to advise the recipient to collect the parcel from a local post office.

Send Tracking Notifications

If set to "Enabled" customers will receive delivery updates from AusPost to their email address and/or mobile phone. For more information about delivery notifications see Australia Post's article at https://auspost.com.au/content/dam/auspost_corp/media/documents/tracking-notifications-for-parcel-post-and-express-post.pdf

Item Description

While available this setting is optional and only serves as a reference for later use when reviewing a parcel. It is very rarely used by most sellers.
