SellerDash allows you to choose different label formats for Australia Post eParcel shipments, whether you're using a thermal label printer or printing onto A4 paper.
Change your label print settings
Go to Settings > Carriers.
Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to your eParcel carrier.
Select the Print Settings tab.
Choose your preferred label format for each label type.
Click Save.
All labels created from this point onwards will use your new print settings.
⚠️ Important: Changing your label print settings does not update labels that have already been created.
If you need to print existing orders in a different label size, you'll need to create new labels.
In SellerDash, select Actions > Reset Order for the affected orders.
Make any required changes, then create and print new labels.
If you had already manifested the original labels, you will need to contact your AusPost Account Manager to cancel them, as once a label is manifested it cannot be cancelled via SellerDash.
Print labels using the new format
Return to the Dashboard, select the orders you want to process, then click Print Labels.
To print multiple labels at once, select all required orders before clicking Print Labels. SellerDash will generate a single PDF containing all selected labels, making batch printing quick and easy.
Label size options
Australia Post eParcel supports several label formats to suit different printers and label stationery.
Domestic label formats
A6 – 1 label per page
This option is recommended if you're using a thermal shipping label printer, including:
Dymo 4XL or 5XL
Zebra printers
Brother thermal label printers
Any printer that supports standard 4 × 6 inch shipping labels
The label size is 105 mm × 148 mm (4 × 6 inches).
A4 – 4 labels per page (Parcel Post only)
Select this option when using A4 label sheets containing four A6 labels.
A4 – 3 labels per page (Express Post only)
Australia Post only supplies Express Post labels in a 3-per-page A4 format.
If you require compatible label stationery, contact your Australia Post Account Manager.
A4 – 1 label per page
This option is ideal when printing onto plain A4 paper. Simply print the label and securely attach it to your parcel.
International label formats
International eParcel labels can also be printed in multiple formats, including A6 – 1 label per page, making them suitable for thermal label printers.
Fixing label alignment issues
Label PDFs are generated directly by Australia Post and are produced at the correct dimensions.
If your labels aren't printing correctly:
Ensure your printer driver is up to date.
Confirm you've selected the correct paper size.
Set your PDF print scaling to 100% or Actual Size.
Do not use Fit to Page, Shrink to Fit, or similar scaling options.
If the label is only slightly misaligned, you can fine-tune the print position using the Top Offset and Left Offset settings in the Print Settings tab.
Note: Offset values should normally be no more than 1 or 2. If larger adjustments are required, it's usually a sign that your printer or PDF print settings are incorrect rather than an issue with the label itself.
